Vehicle carrying covid-19 vaccination staff damaged at Phougakchao

CHURACHANDPUR :A vehicle carrying Nurse on duty reportedly damaged by bandh supporters at Phougakchao along Imphal - Churachandpur road on April 22.

Source inform admin Eastern Mirror (CNS) that the vehicle was transporting a Nurse on duty towards her office when bandh supporter attack the vehicle at Phougakchao.

The Nurse is said to be posted at Leisang PHSC under Saikot PHC Churachandpur district. She was on her way to her office for Covi-19 vaccination duty when the Panchayat area bandh supporters damaged her vehicle at Phougakchao.

It may be mentioned that 48hrs bandh had been enforced in Panchayat areas since yesterday (April 21) in protest against the non-release of MNREGA Fund.
